I chase the in-between moments
I've been photographing weddings and editorial work in the Pacific Northwest for nine years. Before picking up a camera professionally, I studied documentary filmmaking at Portland State — and that instinct to observe quietly, to wait for the real thing, never left.
My work lives in the space between posed and candid. I shoot film and digital, often simultaneously. I'm drawn to natural light, complicated feelings, and the way a single frame can hold everything a couple will want to remember about a day.
I take on 25–30 weddings a year, by choice. Enough to stay sharp; few enough to be fully present for every one.
